The Institute has a strong presence at the first LABScon in Arizona. Alperovitch Institute adjunct MJ Emanuel presented on “Demystifying threats to satellite communications in critical infrastructure,” and won a best speaker award. Thomas Rid gave a keynote on his next book project. Melissa Griffith and current visiting fellow Richard Bach attended. Juan Andres Guerrero-Saade, adjunct at the Institute, was the organizer and the driving force behind this most extraordinary, new conference. Our funder, Dmitri Alperovitch, was on stage with for a fireside conversation with Kim Zetter on Russian-Ukraine war cyber attacks. Dmitri was also awarded the SentinelLabs MVP Award for his contributions to cybersecurity.
We can’t wait for LABScon 2023.
