In the fall of 2021, with the generous support of Dmitri Alperovitch and Maureen Hinman, the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies established the Alperovitch Institute for Cybersecurity Studies. The institute aims to develop innovative research that will shape national and global scholarship and theories of cybersecurity.
Our vision is to train future policymakers and practitioners in the implications of evolving cybersecurity threats, and to identify opportunities to strengthen national, industrial, and personal security, enhance commerce, and formulate effective policies in the digital domain.
